Refund policy


Our main goal is to guarantee customer satisfaction with every purchase. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we offer a hassle-free return or exchange policy within 30 days of placing your order. You can choose between a full refund or exchange.

  2. Return items with selected shipping carrier 
  3. Receive a confirmation email once we have received your returned item(s).
  4. Receive a refund or exchange
  5. Items must be unused/unworn/unwashed
  6. Items must still be in their original packaging with all tags attached
  7. Items must not be damaged or show signs of wear / makeup / markings / stains / scents
  8. You must have a receipt or other proof of purchase

      Please note that refunds or exchanges may be declined and returned to you at your own expense and/or a 40% restocking fee will be applied if the items do not meet our return conditions.

      To prevent the need for refunds, it is important to utilize the size chart and measurement guide provided to select the appropriate fit and prevent any sizing complications. Refunds are not provided for customers who repeatedly or consistently return orders. In such cases, we regretfully decline any future orders from these customers. This practice not only incurs significant shipping expenses for us but also hinders our ability to provide the most affordable shipping options to other customers and contributes to a larger carbon footprint.

      The cost of the return shipping label is deducted from your refund.

      Return Approval Notice

      The time it takes for your return to reach our distribution center can vary, depending on the shipment carrier you choose. Once we receive the returned item(s) and confirm that they meet the return criteria mentioned above, we will proceed with processing your store refund or exchange.  An email notification will be sent to you within 1-3 business days after we receive your return.

      Exceptions / non-returnable items

      Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges on promotional offers, clearance events, or sale items that are marked as Final Sale. We also cannot accept returns of:

      • Hijabs and hijab accessories (scrunchies/hijab pins/hijab magnets / under caps ) due to sanitation reasons

      • Sale items or gift cards              

      • Formal and special occasion dresses are always on final sale, including those made of Satin and Chiffon

      • Purchases made during Eid and Ramadan Sale Events at a discounted price are considered final sales.

      Please note that we do not provide exchanges, returns, credits, or price match adjustments for items that were discounted after your purchase date.


      Damages and issues


      Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Each item is inspected for damages and correct items are verified before dispatch. Our merchandise is backed by a guarantee that ensures it is free from any manufacturing defects.

      If you receive a defective item, we will gladly accept it for a refund. Please contact us at support@modestymuslimah.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition within 3 days of receiving your item(s) to address the damage. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.


      Exchanges 


      The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item(s). For any exchange or new order, customers will be required to purchase new shipping labels. 


      International Returns


      If you decide to return a product, please note that we are unable to provide a refund for international prepaid duties and taxes that were paid during checkout for Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) orders, or for duties and taxes paid at the time of customs entry for Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) orders. To inquire about a tax refund, kindly reach out to your local customs office.


      Should you choose to reject a shipment because of unexpected fees, please note that we reserve the right to deduct shipping and other relevant charges from your refund.


      Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 


      Cancelation of Orders


      To cancel an order that has been recently placed but not yet shipped, please contact us immediately. Our order processing time is very fast, usually within 1 business day, so it is important to act quickly. If you cancel before the order is shipped, you will receive a full refund and will not be charged anything. However, if you cancel after the order has been shipped or if the carrier is unable to deliver the package and it is returned to us, you will be responsible for both the outbound and return shipping fees.


      Your request will be reviewed by our Customer Service team, and they will reach out to you within 24-48 business hours. Kindly be aware that our customer service center does not operate on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and responses will not be provided during these days.

      Choose the shipping carrier that suits you best to return your item (s). It is advisable to select a shipping method that enables you to track your return and insure the package for the value of the items being returned.

      Refunds


       We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. The original shipping charge to send your item(s) is non-refundable and is deducted from the refund total along with a restocking fee of 10% unless Modesty Muslimah is responsible for sending a damaged or incorrect product. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 20 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at Support@modestymuslimah.com.
